A real highlight
Beautiful setting and very well run. The timing gave us plenty of room to explore at our own pace. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.

About this experience
Collect the car at the station forecourt desk — no shuttle, no queue at a remote lot — and drop it back at the same desk. The rate includes unlimited mileage, third-party liability, a collision damage waiver with a stated excess, and a second driver at no extra cost. Hire runs from 3 to 12 days, and the premium car class takes 5 people and 3 suitcases, which is the right size for Sofia and the roads out of it.

Pleasant but busy
Fine for the price. I would probably book a smaller group next time. Booked it around a work trip and it worked out well.

Superb
Our guide was excellent — patient with the children and full of stories we would never have found ourselves. Travelled on my own and had no trouble at all.

Highly recommend
A highlight of the trip. I have already recommended it to two friends who are visiting next month. Travelled on my own and had no trouble at all.
