Worth it, just about
Comfortable ride. The car was clean but the air conditioning was weak. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.

What you’ll do
- One vehicle for your whole party, not per person
- Driver waits in arrivals with a name board
- Tracked against your flight, so a delay is not your problem
- The return leg is booked at the same time
About this experience
Private airport transfer — SOF to central Sofia covers the whole run in both directions: the driver meets you in the arrivals hall of SOF with a board carrying your name, drives your party into central Sofia in one vehicle, and collects you again for the return. The airport is about 7.8 km from the centre — roughly 25 minutes in normal traffic — and the fare covers the vehicle, not each passenger, so a group of four pays the same as one. Your flight number is tracked, so a late landing moves the pickup rather than costing you the car.

Highly recommend
Met us outside the terminal rather than in a car park, which made the arrival easy. Travelled on my own and had no trouble at all.

Highly recommend
The return pickup was ten minutes early, which took any worry out of a tight flight. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.

Would not repeat
The driver arrived ninety minutes late and we had a sleeping child with us. Went with my partner and we both came away happy.
