Highly recommend
Our guide was excellent — patient with the children and full of stories we would never have found ourselves. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.

About this experience
Collect the car at the city-centre depot — no shuttle, no queue at a remote lot — and drop it back at the same desk. The rate includes unlimited mileage, third-party liability, a collision damage waiver with a stated excess, and a second driver at no extra cost. Hire runs from 5 to 16 days, and the premium car class takes 5 people and 3 suitcases, which is the right size for Shanghai and the roads out of it.

Worth it, just about
Decent. The main attraction was excellent; the rest felt like filler. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.

Would book again
Smooth from start to finish. No queues, no confusion, and the guide knew the area inside out. Went with my partner and we both came away happy.

A real highlight
Great value for what you get. The small group size made a real difference. Went with my partner and we both came away happy.
