Highly recommend
Our guide was excellent — patient with the children and full of stories we would never have found ourselves. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.

About this experience
Collect the car at the city-centre depot — no shuttle, no queue at a remote lot — and drop it back at the same desk. The rate includes unlimited mileage, third-party liability, a collision damage waiver with a stated excess, and a second driver at no extra cost. Hire runs from 3 to 18 days, and the economy car class takes 5 people and 2 suitcases, which is the right size for San Francisco and the roads out of it.

Excellent
Exactly as described. The booking was confirmed within minutes and the voucher arrived straight away. Went with my partner and we both came away happy.

Would book again
Beautiful setting and very well run. The timing gave us plenty of room to explore at our own pace. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.

Not as described
Would not book again. The cancellation terms were also stricter than I realised at checkout. Went as a group of four and everyone was satisfied.
