Better than expected
Our guide was excellent — patient with the children and full of stories we would never have found ourselves. Travelled on my own and had no trouble at all.

About this experience
Collect the car at the station forecourt desk — no shuttle, no queue at a remote lot — and drop it back at the same desk. The rate includes unlimited mileage, third-party liability, a collision damage waiver with a stated excess, and a second driver at no extra cost. Hire runs from 4 to 18 days, and the compact car class takes 5 people and 2 suitcases, which is the right size for New York and the roads out of it.

Fine overall
Decent. The main attraction was excellent; the rest felt like filler. Went with my partner and we both came away happy.

Excellent
Beautiful setting and very well run. The timing gave us plenty of room to explore at our own pace. Booked it around a work trip and it worked out well.

Better than expected
Booked last minute and it still went perfectly. Confirmation was instant and the instructions were clear. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.
