Private airport transfer — ITM to central Kyoto covers the whole run in both directions: the driver meets you in the arrivals hall of ITM with a board carrying your name, drives your party into central Kyoto in one vehicle, and collects you again for the return. The airport is about 39.4 km from the centre — roughly 79 minutes in normal traffic — and the fare covers the vehicle, not each passenger, so a group of four pays the same as one. Your flight number is tracked, so a late landing moves the pickup rather than costing you the car.

Better than expected
The driver was waiting in arrivals with our name on a board and walked us out to the car. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.

Fine overall
Reliable enough, though the wait for a van at a busy arrival time was forty minutes. Went as a group of four and everyone was satisfied.
