Better than expected
The return pickup was ten minutes early, which took any worry out of a tight flight. Travelled on my own and had no trouble at all.

About this experience
Private airport transfer — HAV to central Havana covers the whole run in both directions: the driver meets you in the arrivals hall of HAV with a board carrying your name, drives your party into central Havana in one vehicle, and collects you again for the return. The airport is about 14.5 km from the centre — roughly 37 minutes in normal traffic — and the fare covers the vehicle, not each passenger, so a group of four pays the same as one. Your flight number is tracked, so a late landing moves the pickup rather than costing you the car.

Worth it, just about
Reliable enough, though the wait for a van at a busy arrival time was forty minutes. Booked it around a work trip and it worked out well.

Excellent
Met us outside the terminal rather than in a car park, which made the arrival easy. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.
