A real highlight
Everything was well organised. The meeting point was easy to find and we started exactly on time. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.

About this experience
Collect the car at the city-centre depot — no shuttle, no queue at a remote lot — and drop it back at the same desk. The rate includes unlimited mileage, third-party liability, a collision damage waiver with a stated excess, and a second driver at no extra cost. Hire runs from 5 to 21 days, and the minivan class takes 7 people and 4 suitcases, which is the right size for Beijing and the roads out of it.

Better than expected
The photos do not do it justice. We spent far longer here than we planned to. Travelled on my own and had no trouble at all.

Below expectations
Would not book again. The cancellation terms were also stricter than I realised at checkout. Went as a group of four and everyone was satisfied.

Highly recommend
Our guide was excellent — patient with the children and full of stories we would never have found ourselves. Travelling with two children, which is the real test.
