Superb
Our guide was excellent — patient with the children and full of stories we would never have found ourselves. Went as a group of four and everyone was satisfied.

About this experience
Collect the car at the north-side depot — no shuttle, no queue at a remote lot — and drop it back at the same desk. The rate includes unlimited mileage, third-party liability, a collision damage waiver with a stated excess, and a second driver at no extra cost. Hire runs from 5 to 27 days, and the minivan class takes 7 people and 4 suitcases, which is the right size for Auckland and the roads out of it.

Better than expected
Booked last minute and it still went perfectly. Confirmation was instant and the instructions were clear. Went as a group of four and everyone was satisfied.

Fine overall
It was okay. Worth doing once, but I would try something different next visit. Went with my partner and we both came away happy.

Worth it, just about
Enjoyed it, but the meeting point could be clearer — we walked past it twice. Travelled on my own and had no trouble at all.
